For
a Brillant Brew:
Begin with fresh water. Bring to a rolling boil and
remove kettle from heat. Swirl a bit in yout teapot
(or cup) to warm. Toss in 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per
cup and pour the hot water over the leaves. Cover and
infuse. Strain into a warm cup.
Best Brew Guide:
Black & Oolong: 4-5 min.
Green: 2-3 min.
Herbals / Tisanes: 5 min.
All teas naturally contain caffeine - on average 50
mg/cup. Herbals are naturally caffeine free.
Did You Know.....
Next to water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage
in the world! In 2005, Americans alone consumed over
50 billion servings. Tea contains no sodium, fat or
sugar and is naturally low in caffeine and has virtually
0 calories.
Believe it or not, all tea comes
from a single species of one plant called Camellia.
Tea types are categorized solely by the level of processing.
During fermentation the leaves are oxidized to different
stages, resulting in varied levels of color and pungency.

Oolong
Key: L: loose leaf ~ B: compostable sachets (bagged tea)
-
Ti Kuan Yin, China:
A gift from the "Iron Goddess of Mercy". A delightfully smooth oolong that can be re-infused two or three times. The long dark leaves gently unfurl to produce a full bodied, silky tea that is pleasantly soft with a delicate aroma and hint of toasted grain. L/B
-
Magnolia Jade Oolong, China:
This is a sweet Jade Oolong softly scented with Magnolia petals. During the drying process, Magnolia blossoms are layered with the tea to impart their sweet frangrance on the leaves. L/B
